Georgia Republicans Betray Their Voters
Freedom Caucus Vice Chair Sen. Colton Moore kicked out of the caucus
Friends,
State Freedom Caucus members continue to get punished by their Establishment colleagues. Recall that the entire South Carolina Freedom Caucus was booted out of the party earlier this year because they had the nerve to fight big government Republicans in Columbia.
Now, Georgia State Sen. Colton Moore, the Vice Chair of the GAFC, was kicked out of the Senate GOP caucus last week. His crime? Pushing for a special session of the legislature to investigate corrupt Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who weaponized her office with a shame prosecution of President Trump.
The RINOs in the Georgia Senate released a statement saying that he caused “unnecessary tension and hostility” by simply calling for an investigation. They are perfectly fine with allowing Fani Willis to commit election interference against Joe Biden’s leading political opponent in the 2024 election, but take exception when a member of their caucus wants to do something about it.
This situation perfectly exemplifies why State Freedom Caucuses are so crucial. In many Republican-dominated states like Georgia, your GOP representatives don’t represent the conservative base in the way that they should. If you ask any citizen in Georgia if they want their tax dollars funding the office of a weaponized prosecutor, most would undoubtedly say no.
Sen. Moore isn’t going away any time soon. In fact, he is now calling for primaries against all of his big government Republican colleagues so conservative Georgians can get representation that actually reflects their interests.

IL Freedom Caucus Fights Back Against EV Cronyism
You would think that it would be out of the question for states to allow Chinese companies to build multi-billion dollar manufacturing plants with massive taxpayer subsidies, right?
Well, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker recently - and unilaterally - approved a $2 billion plant for Chinese electric vehicle battery maker Gotion. The left-wing rush to convert Americans to EVs has led them to be totally okay with CCP subsidiaries gaining a foothold in the United States.
Not only did Pritzker approve the project, but Gotion is going to get massive tax benefits from the state in order to do it. The company will receive hundreds of millions in Illinois subsidies and then BILLIONS in federal subsidies. It’s fully unacceptable and the Illinois Freedom Caucus is fighting back.
On Monday, the ILFC held a massive rally outside the proposed site for the plant. You can watch the full rally here.
The good news is that this is not a done deal. The local community in Manteno, IL, where the plant will be built, are furious. The whole scheme was done behind doors, away from the public eye. How are the permits going to be issued? How is Gotion going to dispose of the toxic water that results from cooling the plant’s operations? The IL Freedom Caucus is working with these local taxpayers to get answers. They have FOIA’d all of the paperwork behind this shady deal. Optimism is high that, once this is exposed, the whole thing could fall apart. Stay tuned.
Election integrity in Pennsylvania
Without approval from the legislature, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro recently announced that he would implement automatic voter registration. This means anybody who updates, renews, or applies for a driver’s license in the state will automatically be registered to vote. Imagine a Canadian living in Philadelphia getting registered to vote in state elections. Even if the Canadian wisely chose not to vote, since that would be illegal, a ballot would still be available for fraudsters to submit.
It’s a pure political attempt to taint the voting process in the Keystone State and it’s unconstitutional since the PA General Assembly didn’t approve it.
Pennsylvanians deserve to have elections that they can trust, so the PA Freedom Cacus will be launching a legal challenge against the initiative.

MT Freedom Caucus Calls for Special Session to Cut Taxes
Montana is awash in higher than expected tax revenue. Current estimates suggest that $800 million to $1 billion will be received above and beyond what the 2023 legislature committed to government spending. Naturally, this money should go back to taxpayers and not to big government politicians.
But here’s the wrinkle - Montana’s legislature only meets every other year. So if nothing is done now, then taxpayers have to wait until 2025, not next year.
So the MT Freedom Caucus has called for a special session to immediately return this money to taxpayers AND to institute massive reforms through a Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights. If successful, future tax receipts will automatically go to the people rather than be used to grow government.
Lawmaker will vote on a “petition” to decide whether to have a special session. The Republican governor and liberal Republican leaders are either silent on the issue or quietly opposed. The Montana Freedom Caucus will correctly force their hand. Will they stand with taxpayers or stand for the bloated government they helped prop up?
Keep fighting,
