Friends,
The State Freedom Caucus Network has grown rapidly over the last three years, so we thought it would be a good idea to introduce ourselves to all the new supporters and followers. If you missed our last two emails, we did a short Q&A with the Network’s President, Andy Roth and Senior Vice President Justin Ouimette.
This week is our dynamic Development Duo, Dana Craycroft and Sara Prinzi, who are responsible for helping us fund our amazing efforts. Enjoy!
DANA CRAYCROFT
What is your role at SFCN? Vice President of Development
Where are you from originally? Where do you live now? I grew up in the small town of Earth, Texas-- pop. 1,001! It's a farming community in the Panhandle just south of Amarillo. After college, I spent time living in Washington, DC and Virginia while working in conservative politics, but I'm a Texas girl at heart and settled in Dallas before recently getting married and moving to the Austin area.
Tell us about your family! And pets! I just got married two weeks ago! My husband Greg and I met on a right-wing dating website a year and a half ago (neither of us wanted to use a dating app that asked for your pronouns!). Greg has spent his career in law enforcement and currently works as Campus Security Manager for a large Christian church and PreK-12 private school. Greg (and now I) have a German Shorthaired Pointer bird-dog named Annie and a 15 year old cat named Jihad. My sweet chihuahua-terrier Fitz passed away this summer and I don't think I can ever replace him!
What's the best part of your job? After spending the majority of my career raising money for candidates' campaigns that come and go, I enjoy seeing the vision and long-term investment of our donors in organizing a Network throughout the states that will be a haven for conservatives and freedom-fighters for years to come.
How did you come to SFCN? What did you do before? I was Texas Finance Director for Sen. Ted Cruz when he ran for President in 2016. Alongside that, I worked as a Fundraising Consultant for numerous campaigns from State House and Senate to Congress to Attorney General. While I will always love campaigns and elections, experiencing the constant "running" and changing tides of each cycle made me want to be involved in buliding something that would serve as a stalwart for my values after the first Tuesday in November. SFCN is just that, and lucky for me, SFCN Pres. Andy Roth and I had mutual colleagues from Cruz and Club for Growth.
Who or what most shaped your political philosophy/ideology? My Mom and Rush Limbaugh!
Pick One To Answer: Favorite food? Favorite place to vacation? Favorite Book? Favorite Quote? At the risk of being cliché, I have to go with Ronald Reagan's 1967 Inagural Address: "Freedom is a fragile thing and it's never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by way of inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. And those in world history who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again."

SARA PRINZI
What is your role at SFCN? I am the Senior Director of Fundraising
Where are you from originally? Where do you live now? I am originally from Ohio; but 11 years ago moved to East Tennessee, but I am still a Buckeye when it comes to college football!
Tell us about your family! And pets! I am married to my high school sweetheart, I have 2 daughters and I will be a grandma (Omie) in 2025. We have sooo many animals; 3 horses (all rescues), 6 dogs, 4 cats, and a pot bellied pig. We will add this spring to our hobby farm ducks and chickens as soon as construction is finished on their house. At one time we had 27 animals including a fox, cows, lamb, bunnies and goats.
What's the best part of your job? The best part of my job is seeing the wins our lawmakers are having and the impact it has on saving our states and country. Getting to talk with passionate supporters and showing them the many ways they can support us is so rewarding.
How did you come to SFCN? What did you do before? I came from PragerU as a Vice President of Development; PragerU has a great message and product but I don't believe we have 20 years to save this country with education and felt led to seek out an organization making big changes, right now! Those changes and the fight for our freedom are being won with the State Freedom Caucuses.
Who or what most shaped your political philosophy/ideology? I was raised in a very liberal household - I voted for Bill Clinton when I was 18. As I became a mother, practicing Christian, and a business owner my eyes were opened. My values and moral compass only align with one party. I have lost friends and family members over making these changes and becoming more vocal and outspoken. We can no longer be the "silent" majority.
Pick One To Answer: Favorite food? Favorite place to vacation? Favorite Book? Favorite Quote? My favorite place to vacation is somewhere new; I love exploring a new place, culture, and food. I got to check off Ireland this year and have been planning this vacation in my head since I was 13 and my grandmother showed me our genealogy, pictures, letters, and photos.
