Friends,
The state of Idaho held their primary elections last Tuesday and the Establishment worked overtime to try to defeat our Idaho Freedom Caucus members.
RINOs and the corporate interests that dominate the state spent over a million dollars to take out the true conservative fighters who achieved so much success in the last legislative session, which included the historic budget reforms that we previously wrote about.
Idaho’s RINO Gov. Brad Little even instructed Senate Pro Temp. Chuck Winder to target four of our IDFC State Senators.
We wrote last November about how Winder removed several of our members from committee leadership positions after criticizing him.
Specifically, he removed IDFC member Sen. Glenneda Zuiderveld from Vice Chair of the Health and Welfare Committee after she wrote a newsletter criticizing the power that corporate interests have in the legislature.
Well, the voters were paying attention. Chuck Winder went down in flames in his primary. Glenneda won hers by nine points.
This was the overall trend in Idaho’s primaries.
Unfortunately, their efforts resulted in two IDFC members losing their primaries - State Senator Scott Herndon and State Rep. Jacyn Gallagher.
Overall, however, conservatives made tremendous gains all across the state.
While the dust is still settling, last Tuesday’s primaries will absolutely result in net growth in the Idaho Freedom Caucus.

I recently did an interview with Daniel Horowitz from The Blaze to discuss the successes of our State Freedom Caucuses from around the country.

Additionally, I also appeared on The Federalist Radio Hour to discuss our work.
You can listen to that here as well.
