Friends,
As you probably know, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has launched a blatantly political prosecution of President Donald Trump, as well as his allies who questioned the 2020 election in Georgia. They are only doing it for one reason: To stop the voters from being able to elect him president once again. She even asked for his trial to begin the day before Super Tuesday!
The good news is that the Georgia Freedom Caucus is fighting back. Our GAFC Vice Chairman, State Sen. Colton Moore, made national waves last week when he began pushing for a special session of the legislature to review the actions of DA Willis and investigate the weaponization of her office against Joe Biden’s top political opponent.
“I’m not going to sit back and watch as radical left prosecutors politically TARGET political opponents,” Sen. Moore said. We must strip all funding and, if appropriate, impeach Fani Willis.”

President Trump himself also praised Sen. Moore in a post on Truth Social.
GAFC Chairwoman State Rep. Charlice Byrd announced shortly thereafter that she would lead the effort to hold Willis accountable in the Georgia House of Representatives. Weaponized government is one of the biggest threats to American freedom and the political prosecution of President Trump has made a travesty of our justice system.
Please note that none of this would have happened if we didn’t have the State Freedom Caucus Network, which helped launch and support the Georgia Freedom Caucus. State Freedom Caucuses are absolutely vital in protecting our liberties at the state level, while providing air support for our allies in Washington.
Texas Leaves the American Library Association
In our previous newsletters, we have written at length about our war against the American Library Association (ALA) and their self-described “Marxist” president, who want to weaponize our nation’s libraries to push a dangerous left-wing agenda on our children. Freedom Caucuses have been fighting in all of their states for state and local library associations to cut ties from the ALA.
Last week, Texas’s State Library & Archives Commission announced that they would break ties from the ALA, an effort that was led by State Rep. Brian Harrison, who announced the news on Twitter.
Thanks to our efforts, the movement has gone to states where we have yet to expand our umbrella and the Dallas Express recognized that it was the State Freedom Caucus Network that has led the effort to hold the ALA accountable.
We also hosted a public Twitter Space about the ALA last week with Riley Gaines, who shared her experience of a local library trying to stop her from reading wholesome books to children. Riley is an unstoppable force for good and it was wonderful for her to join us on the call.
The upcoming budget fight in Congress
When Congress reconvenes in a few weeks, the biggest issue will be over government funding. The House Freedom Caucus has taken a concrete position on the budget: “No Security, No Funding.”
HFC will not support any continuing resolution that doesn’t include adequate funding to address the crisis at the border, that addresses weaponized government at the FBI and DOJ, and that doesn’t end the Left’s woke policies in the Pentagon.

The State Freedom Caucus Network will be fully supporting our friends in the HFC as they fight for all of these important issues.
Keep fighting,
Andy Roth
President
