Do you know what a Statehouse Revolution looks like?
With the conclusion of Tuesday's primaries in Wyoming, we now have the results. But some background information is warranted first.
In 2015, the House Freedom Caucus was created to fight the Radical Left and the GOP establishment in Washington. Ever since then, they have built up a brand and an agenda that patriotic Americans know and trust. Conservative HFC warriors like Chip Roy, Lauren Boebert, Andy Biggs, Ralph Norman, and Michael Cloud have led the way.
But more work is needed. While all the focus has been on Washington, we have forgotten that there are 50 Swamps in the 50 state capitols. However bad you think it is at the state level, I assure you that it’s far worse than you can possibly imagine. Billions of dollars are being spent with little accountability and oversight. This has allowed the states to get out of control, when they should be fighting for us. They should be fighting against Washington, instead of being addicted to the federal handouts. We know that the Blue States are run by the Radical Left, but most of the Red States are run by liberals too. They just happen to have an “R” after their name. And this deception has tricked the voters for far too long.
That’s why we created the State Freedom Caucus Network in December of 2021. Our mission is very simple. We help launch and assist state freedom caucuses made up of strong conservative men and women in the state capitols to carry on the fight that the House Freedom Caucus has started.
The Georgia Freedom Caucus was the first, but we quickly expanded into states like South Carolina, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and most recently Missouri. We’re growing and expanding into new states with the goal to eventually be in all 50.
Their success has exceeded even the most optimistic expectations. States like Louisiana, South Dakota, Missouri, and Arizona have actually cut their state budgets thanks to our freedom caucuses putting pressure on the Swamp. And when the Swamp got their way, our lawmakers fought them tooth and nail. Like our Wyoming Freedom Caucus, which offered $700 million in spending cuts, forcing RINOs in Cheyenne to go on the record in support of bigger government.
Our state freedom caucuses have secured victories on almost every policy issue you can think of – on guns, life, election integrity, educational freedom, and shutting down the woke agenda that the Left is forcing on our families.
One key innovation that the Network created is helping part-time lawmakers become full-time state freedom caucuses. Our members have shut down abortion and transgender clinics. They went after tax-hiking city councils and radical school boards. They challenged their state Republican parties to disavow the corrupt teachers' unions. They did all of this out of session. No bills were considered or votes taken. They simply stood on principle, educated the public, and won.
None of this was easy. The GOP Establishment has fought our freedom caucuses from the very beginning. RINOS in Atlanta castigated the Georgia Freedom Caucus for wanting to hold Fani Willis accountable for her radical persecution of President Trump. The Swamp in Harrisburg handed out millions of dollars to woke, liberal universities when our Pennsylvania Freedom Caucus tried to defund them. Republicans, not just Democrats, blocked a special session called for by the Montana Freedom Caucus to stop illegal aliens from voting in our elections. The teachers unions targeted our Illinois Freedom Caucus for supporting school choice. Our members have been kicked off committees, had their parking spots taken away, they’ve been kicked out of the GOP Caucus, and one member - Missouri State Senator Bill Eigel - was even threatened with expulsion simply because he was fighting for conservative values. They’ve been called extremists, jihadists, terrorists, and jackals.
But the state freedom caucuses in our Network had help along the way. They had support from millions of grassroots activists, patriotic Americans who donated their treasure, and top conservative thought leaders. But more than anything, our members had each other. Fighting together in the trenches for what is right has given them strength and more courage than ever before.
The voters witnessed all of this - the good and the bad - and they massively rewarded our state freedom caucuses. At last count, dozens of RINOs were defeated in this year’s primaries. Powerful committee chairmen and party leaders in South Carolina, Louisiana, and elsewhere were denied re-election because the voters saw through their deception. In the end, our members won over 95% of their races, and they helped over 50 new candidates win their races.
Some highlights:
The Wyoming Freedom Caucus launched with just 8 members less than 2 years ago, and now will be over 20 members come 2025, where they will be leading a new conservative majority in the WY House, taking control from the RINOs, who were in charge for far too long.
The Louisiana Freedom Caucus did effectively the same thing last fall, and their new conservative majority passed all kinds of conservative reforms this year, making Louisiana arguably more conservative than Florida.
The South Carolina Freedom Caucus swept their elections, defeated some powerful RINOs, and now have the Columbia Swamp in a circular firing squad.
The Missouri Freedom Caucus will be growing its ranks, and MOFC member State Senator Denny Hoskins is the frontrunner to be the state's next Secretary of State. MOFC legacy member Bob Onder won his congressional primary race and will likely be a House Freedom Caucus member in Washington after November.
The Arizona Freedom Caucus had similar results, and AZFC member State Rep. Justin Heap is the frontrunner to be the next Maricopa County Recorder.
The South Dakota Freedom Caucus will be expanding their numbers, while 14 RINOs lost.
The Pennsylvania Freedom Caucus, Illinois Freedom Caucus, and the Georgia Freedom Caucus swept their re-elections and are growing. The Montana Freedom Caucus lost a single member, but gained several more.
How did they do it despite all the Swamp Money going after them? It's not really complicated. They fought for principled conservative policies and told the public about it almost on a daily basis. And the voters rewarded them for it.
